Simbai is an entrepreneur and former merchant banker where he worked in capital markets research, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity in New York City and Johannesburg, South Africa.
He was a founding member of Standard Chartered Bank’s Africa private equity business (now known as Affirma Capital) and has established several financial services businesses in the southern African region. Simbai now runs a family investment vehicle investing in the US and Zimbabwe.
