Bishop Gandiya is an ordained priest in the Anglican Diocese of Harare in the Church of the Province of Central Africa.
He was ordained bishop of the same Diocese and served in this capacity for nearly ten years before retiring at the end of 2018.
He has served in the Anglican Communion in various capacities- as a theological educator training Anglican priests at Bishop Gaul College in Harare, training mission partners for the United Society for the Propagation of the Gospel (USPG) and Anglican Mission Agency in Birmingham UK before deployment to different parts of the world.
He also served as a priest and Chaplain at Michigan State University USA where he was also a teaching assistant.
