Senator Holland is a retired politician and human rights activist.
She is the co-founder of the Zimbabwe Peace-building Initiative. She is also the co-patron of Midlands State University’s Fund-Raising Committee.
She was a founding member of Australasia’s Anti-Apartheid Movement as well as an activist in Aboriginal rights and other campaigns for Liberation around the world at that time.
She was a member of the Chimurenga General Council of ZANU (1973-1976) in her capacity as the Party’s Chief Representative in the Australasia region during Ndabaningi’s Sithole’s party presidency and Chairman Chitepo of the Dare reChimurenga.
